It’s just about the end of the year, so like almost everyone else I can’t resist the urge to create a list of some of records I liked from the previous 12 months. I’m sure the people who made them will feel validated by my endorsement of their work.
Unlike NME I didn’t think 2005 was a particularly great year for music — maybe I’m getting old, but I couldn’t really care less about Babyshambles or whoever else they keep on about — anyway there were still a bunch of records I really enjoyed. Here’s my top 5 counting down…
For next year I am mostly looking forward to getting the new Mogwai album which is due in March. Hooray!
